I stuck it on the wall with a piece of paper behind it. The wall was textured and within two minutes it was on the floor.

I am so sorry for your experience, but appreciate you letting us know.
Can you confirm the paper used is 8.5x11? It looks as if much of the adhesive is covered by the paper. In order for the frame to hold, none of the adhesive can be covered. Can you try again with a document no larger than 8.5x11?
